What is Onecount Notify?›
A unified multi-channel notification hub for Shopify that lets you send back-in-stock, price drop, abandoned cart, and order notifications via Email, SMS, Web Push, and WhatsApp — all from one dashboard.
How do I install the app?›
Click the "Add to Shopify" button on this site, or visit the Shopify App Store, search for Onecount Notify, and click Install. Setup takes 60 seconds.
Do I need technical knowledge?›
No. The app works out of the box with smart defaults. You'll connect your channels through guided forms — no code required.
What happens after I install?›
You'll see a guided onboarding flow: connect SMTP for email, optionally enable SMS/WhatsApp/Push, customize templates, and turn on triggers like back-in-stock or abandoned cart.
Channels
What's BYOSMTP / BYOAPI?›
Bring Your Own SMTP or API. You provide your own credentials (e.g. SendGrid, Twilio, Meta) so you control deliverability and pricing. We never charge per-message markups.
Does it work with Twilio for SMS?›
Yes. We support Twilio, MessageBird, and Vonage for SMS. You enter your account credentials once and we handle encrypted storage, sending, and status webhooks.
How does WhatsApp work?›
We integrate with both Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API and Twilio's WhatsApp Business API. You'll need an approved WhatsApp Business account. Setup typically takes 1–2 business days.
What is Web Push?›
Browser-based notifications that work even when customers aren't on your site. Customers opt in via a permission prompt, and you can send them back-in-stock alerts, price drops, or order updates.
Billing
Is the Free plan really free forever?›
Yes. The Free plan includes SMTP email notifications and basic features at no cost, forever. Upgrade only when you need more.
How is billing handled?›
Billing is processed entirely through Shopify's billing API. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice — no separate payment method needed.
Can I downgrade or cancel anytime?›
Yes. You can change plans or uninstall the app at any time from your Shopify admin. No lock-in contracts.
Compliance
Is Onecount Notify GDPR compliant?›
Yes. We handle Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customer data request, customer redact, shop redact). Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and we support consent capture and double opt-in.
Does it support double opt-in?›
Yes for both email and SMS subscriptions. We send a confirmation message and only enable subscriptions once the customer confirms.
What about CAN-SPAM compliance?›
Every email automatically includes proper RFC 8058 List-Unsubscribe headers, a sender address, and a one-click unsubscribe footer link.
Technical
Does it work with Shopify Flow?›
Yes (Pro+ plans). You can trigger notifications from any Flow workflow using our Flow Action.
Can I A/B test notifications?›
Yes (Plus tier). Test subject lines, body content, send times, or channels. Statistical winner declaration once significance is reached.
